Competitors have a full 24 hours to complete the circular route, meticulously waymarked with official Bunyan Way markers throughout. The event is designed to test endurance while offering essential support along the way. Seven fully stocked aid stations are strategically placed around the course, ensuring runners can refuel and rehydrate as needed. A drop-bag service at one designated station allows participants to carry less gear on their feet.
Medical assistance is available continuously during the race for added safety. Live tracking technology keeps friends, family, and spectators informed about each runner's progress in real time. Upon crossing the finish line within the 24-hour limit, athletes are rewarded with a bespoke event medal and a commemorative T-shirt.
