Pinen og Plagen Cannonball Run nr. 3

About the Event

Mark your calendars for an exciting addition to the running scene on Mors Island with Cannonball, featuring 3 to 5 races annually around the picturesque Limfjord. This unique series aims to showcase diverse routes and stunning natural beauty while providing runners with a memorable experience.
The inaugural race begins in Nykøbing Mors at 9:00 AM and concludes in Skarregaard on Fæggesundvej, offering three distance options:
- A short loop covering 7.1 kilometers
- A half-marathon stretching over approximately 21 kilometers (three loops)
- A full marathon extending to about 43 kilometers (six loops)
Participants have the flexibility to choose based on their preference and fitness level.
For members of Pinen og Plagen, entry is a mere 25 DKK; for non-members, it’s just 50 DKK. While runners are responsible for bringing their own hydration and snacks during the race, water stations will be available at both the start and finish lines. Every participant receives a commemorative medal to celebrate their achievement.
After crossing the finish line, runners can unwind with coffee and pastries in Klubhuset before enjoying casual conversation among fellow participants. Refreshments including beer and bottled water are also available for purchase at affordable prices.
Registration details will be announced soon along with links to race results. The event adheres strictly to the club’s 100 rules, which prohibit the use of GPS watches during the half-marathon and full marathon distances; runners must record their own times manually upon finishing.
