PJ 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk thru Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
About the Event
Join the Speedway Children's Charities for their annual PJ 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk through Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, November 15th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and help support local children in need while enjoying a festive evening under the breathtaking display of six million twinkling lights. Participants will gather in their pajamas for an enchanting run or walk through Nevada’s premier drive-thru light show, complete with strollers welcome and leashed dogs dressed to match. The event promises not only a scenic route but also an array of photo opportunities featuring local mascots, cheerleaders, and even Santa Claus. Registration opens at 3:00 p.m., allowing early arrivals to enjoy entertainment beginning at 3:30 p.m. Race bibs can be picked up starting from the same time at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s registration tent located on Speedway Boulevard North off I-15 Exit 54, providing ample opportunity for participants and spectators alike to prepare. Upon crossing the finish line, all runners will receive a commemorative medal along with light snacks and beverages. The event also includes raffle prizes and an exclusive chance to win two tickets to Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR race in March by donating new children's pajamas at registration. Parking is free for this family-friendly event, which encourages community involvement through its vibrant atmosphere and charitable cause.
