Course map and elevation profile located in race photos. Almost immediately, participants will be faced with 1700’ of climbing in 2 miles up Bald Peak. The course will then stop short of the summit and head back down to the base, via Firewarden’s trail. Participants will then partially circumnavigate around the base to the Southwest Ridge Trailhead, where they will face another 1900’ of gain in 2.5 miles. After reaching the summit, the course will take individuals across the northern ridge, and then down the technical Sue’s Way trail. This connects back to Bald Peak, which will take participants down to Mountain rd and to the finish. The course starts and finishes at the Pleasant Mountain East Lodge.
