Poco Trail Relay (25.3km)

Poco Trail Relay returns to Port Coquitlam, British Columbia on Saturday, September 6th, 2026.
The event takes place along the scenic Traboulay Poco Trail in a setting that showcases the natural beauty of the region. Participants will start next to Hyde Creek Rec Centre and run through various parks, including Gates Park and Castle Park. The route offers a mix of firm and slightly soft trails, with notable features like the outdoor gym at Gates Park and Tinhouse Brewing on the dyke.
This race has been an annual tradition since 2015, attracting over 75 participants each year who support various charities through their efforts. This year's event will see teams running a total distance of 25.3km, with four legs split among team members based on individual preferences and strategy.
The course layout is straightforward yet challenging, featuring three exchange points where teammates can cheer for one another or provide some light assistance if needed. The weather forecast predicts firm but slightly soft conditions due to the typical September climate, with a moderate UV index of 3.5.
