Experience the vibrant coastal charm and scenic beauty of Port Adelaide once again with the PORT LOOP Coastal Run, celebrating its 11th year on the calendar. The race begins at Hart's Mill and winds its way through the historic port area via the Port Loop path around Inner Harbour. Participants will traverse a 5km northern loop across Birkenhead Bridge before looping back for an exhilarating 2km southern segment over Jervois Bridge. Three distances are available, catering to runners of all levels: the 5km, 10km, and half marathon (21.1km). The event kicks off at 7:00am sharp, ensuring a seamless start for every runner. Participants can look forward to race bibs and finisher medals included in their entry fee. This festive run takes on an XMAS theme this year, encouraging runners to don red attire as part of the celebration. A special trophy will be awarded to the individual who best embodies this festive spirit, determined through popular vote from all attendees. All proceeds from the event are dedicated to supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF), contributing towards efforts in ending cancer. Race bibs and finisher medals can be collected at check-in starting from 6:15am on race morning within the start/finish area. For those unable to join us live, a virtual option is available for all events. Runners must complete their distance on the actual event day or an alternative convenient time and location of your choosing. Record your run using Strava or another similar platform, capturing "elapsed" or "total" time rather than just moving time. Submit your run link or screenshot to coastalfunruns for inclusion in online published results. Virtual participants can enjoy a flexible cut-off time, with the race fee set at $25.00 regardless of distance covered. Join us on December 17th, and be part of this unique coastal experience that promises an unforgettable journey through Port Adelaide's rich history and natural beauty.

About Port Adelaide
Learn more about the host city, Port Adelaide.
Port Adelaide is a port-side region of Adelaide, approximately 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) northwest of the Adelaide CBD. It is also the namesake of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield council, a suburb, a federal and state electoral division and is the main port for the city of Adelaide. Port Adelaide played an important role in the formative decades of Adelaide and South Australia, with the port being early Adelaide's main supply and information link to the rest of the world. Its Kaurna name, although not officially adopted as a dual name, is Yertabulti.
