Pre-Game 5K Road Race

Pre-Game 5K has been rescheduled to Sunday,  February 22nd

Thank you all for registering for the 2026 race this year.

After checking and rechecking the current parking situation around the brewery the possibility of 1-3 inches of snow on Saturday AND the sub-zero wind chill on race morning, we've decided it is not safe to run the event this Sunday. Where we usually could park cars on both sides of Woodrock and Moore, we were down to one side to maintain town mandated egress for emergency vehicles (fire truck, etc.). There is a snow melt required to regain about 45% of our parking space so the race date has been pushed back to Sunday, Feb. 22. What was Pre-Game is now Post-Game with the celebration in a more comfortable environment and hopefully celebrating the Patriots Super Bowl win. 

We've considered the runners and our volunteers who provide assistance with parking and course management and the safety of both are tops on the list.

There will be pre-packet pickup on Sat., Feb. 21.

We understand the date change is a disruption but cannot offer refunds at this time but are considering a discounted entry into our Sept race to those who cannot make the new date....more info to come on that.

A fairly flat USATF certified neighborhood course starting and finishing at Barrel House Z Brewery in South Weymouth.

Come and get a run in and socialize before the biggest football game of the year! One BHZ brew is included in your entry fee (for those over 21!). Light snacks and a food truck will be available. 

Regarding the Parent/Child teams, the maximum age for the child is 14 (approximate parity between girls and boys). When the parent picks and names a team, choose "Add Another Registrant" and add the child. Awards to the top-3, parent-child fun for all.

Puma shoes awarded to top 3 overall men & women and every 100th finisher. Mixed Team Awards. Gargantua, Jr. Gargantua and Mini Gargantua Trophies to Largest Teams.
