PSS Imperial Palace Health Run, December 12 Event (ピーエスエス皇居健康ラン12月12日大会)

About the Event

A relaxed lap-based run around the Imperial Palace in Chiyoda Ward, with events ranging from one lap (about 5 km) to four laps (about 20 km). The 10K option is two laps, and there is also a 20K relay in which teams run four laps by four. The gathering point is near the clock tower just inside Sakuradamon Gate.
The organizers describe the atmosphere as very easygoing. The event is open to everyone from first-timers to serious runners of all ages, and same-day entries and slightly late arrivals are welcome. Distance can be changed during the run, shorter if you want to take it easy or longer if you feel like more. The organizers ask only that runners do not simply head home midway. Some people have apparently boarded a train at Takebashi and left.
