Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half

Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs Race is set to challenge runners with its scenic route along the picturesque reservoirs near Leeds. This race offers three distances: half marathon, 10km, and 5km.
The half marathon course takes competitors on two laps around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs, while the 10km run features a single lap of both lakes. The shorter 5km distance includes one loop of Swinsty Reservoir only. Participants can expect climbs totaling approximately 800 feet for the half marathon, 400 feet for the 10km race, and 200 feet for the 5km event.
Registration takes place from 6pm to 6:45pm at the Punk Panther Gazebo located near the toilet block by Swinsty Moor Car Park. The start time is set for 7pm sharp, with all runners beginning their journey from this same car park.
The race route winds through serene landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the reservoirs and surrounding woods. Water stations are conveniently placed at the Punk Panther Gazebo after completing the first lap and again upon reaching the finish line near the edge of a forested area before crossing back to the car park.
While there will be no course tape marking the route, clear signage ensures that participants stay on track throughout their run. Every finisher receives a medal as an acknowledgment of their achievement.
Competitors are advised not to attempt entry on race day; instead, secure your spot ahead of time through our online registration system. Parking is available at Swinsty Moor Car Park for £3 per car, payable via card only and subject to pay-and-display rules. The event closes promptly at 11pm.
