The Quito15K Race and Quito21K Race take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, starting from Av. Pedro Vicente Maldonado and Calle El Tablón, finishing at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito, Ecuador. Organized by RACEVENTS S.A.S., this is the largest and most iconic running event in Ecuador, featuring 15 km and 21 km distances certified by World Athletics and included in the AIMS (International Association of Marathons and Distance Races) calendar for 2026.

Event Logistics and Requirements:

• -- Participants must arrive at the start location at least 1 hour before their scheduled start time.
• -- Race kit (chip, bib, official race shirt) pickup occurs at a designated pre-race event — kits are NOT distributed on race day.
• -- Kits are released only with government ID. Third-party pickup requires written authorization and a copy of the participant's ID.
• -- No changes to participant details, shirt sizes, or event transfers are permitted after registration closes.
• -- The timing chip is integrated into the race bib. Do not bend, fold, or cover it. It must be placed fully extended on the front of the chest.
• -- Runners without an official race bib are not recognized as participants and will be disqualified.
• -- Strollers, pets, and bicycles are not allowed in the start corrals.
• -- Wheelchair categories: Paseo, Competencia, and HandCycle start at 7:15 AM from Km 0.

Corral Assignment:

• -- Corrals are assigned based on finish times from the 2025 edition.
• -- First-time participants or those who did not run in 2025 are assigned to the last corral (Corral E).
• -- Corporate and group registrations receive preferential corral placement.
• -- Runners entering the wrong corral will be automatically disqualified.

Awards and Prizes:

• -- All finishers receive a commemorative medal.
• -- Category winners receive prizes based on finish placement.
• -- All participants with official bib and chip are entered into a draw for a 0km automobile.
• -- Results are published online 48 hours after the race.

Mini Quito5K Race — Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Parque Bicentenario:

• -- Parental authorization form required at registration for all minors.

Refund, Transfer, and Cancellation Policy:

• -- Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason once the invoice is generated.
• -- Registrations are NON-TRANSFERABLE to another person or future event.
• -- No kit delivery or refunds if the event is cancelled due to force majeure.
• -- Insurance covers race-related accidents only — not pre-existing conditions, illnesses, or incidents after leaving the finish area.

Image and Data Privacy:

• -- Participants authorize RACEVENTS S.A.S. to use their images and videos captured during the event for promotional purposes.
