Reindeer Dash for Cash

About the Event

The Reindeer Dash for Cash is more than just a run; it’s an inspiring tribute to Captain Christopher S. Cash, who dedicated his life to serving others both at home and abroad until he made the ultimate sacrifice on June 24, 2004. This event raises funds to provide college scholarships to deserving students through various foundations associated with East Carolina University and other educational institutions in North Carolina.
Participants have a unique opportunity to take part in this meaningful cause either by joining the virtual race or participating on-site (on a different date than mentioned). For those opting for the virtual race, it takes place from December 8 at 6 am until December 31 at 11:59 pm. Runners can choose between using the ItsYourRace mobile app to track their run and upload results seamlessly or manually measure their distance and time through an online portal.
The Reindeer Dash for Cash offers a flexible way to honor Captain Cash’s legacy while supporting future leaders in North Carolina's academic community. Whether you’re running solo, with friends, or as part of a team, your effort contributes significantly towards helping students achieve their educational goals.
Join the movement and make a difference this December.
