For 13 years, the Reindeer Run—presented by Davie Shoring—has brought Christmas cheer to Downtown Hammond. What began as a small neighborhood race has grown into a beloved December tradition, filling our streets with families, athletes, and holiday spirit. The Route
Starting and finishing at Cate Square Park, the course winds through Hammond’s historic district and heads out and back through Southeastern Louisiana University, a festive mix of small-town charm and campus pride.
