About the Event

Clover Hill Elementary, Swift Creek Elementary, and Woolridge Elementary have joined forces again to have the Reservoir Color Run on Sunday, April 26, 2026. This event includes a 1 Mile Run at 2:00 PM. This year, each participant will receive a t-shirt and medal with sign up if registered before April 6, 2026. After this date and until the race, you can still register, but you will not receive a t-shirt and we cannot guarantee a medal. We hope you will be a part of it!

The purpose of this race is not only to bring together three neighboring school communities, but to also raise money for each school. This money will allow the schools to further enhance school enrichment with items such as new technology and equipment, health and wellness programs, staff conference sponsorships, and children’s engineering programs, which will benefit students and teachers alike.

RACE LOCATION: Chesterfield Career & Technical Center, 13900 Hull Street Road, Midlothian, VA 23112

Please Note: This is a Color Run. The Color Powder is made from a blend of food grade cornstarch, FD&C and D&C dyes (food, drug and cosmetic dyes) and baking soda. For more information visit the Color Blaze website FAQ's.

Per county rules, animals, with the exception of service animals, are not prohibited on the track and field.

About Midlothian

Midlothian is an unincorporated area and census-designated place in Chesterfield County, Virginia, United States. Settled as a coal town, Midlothian village experienced suburbanization effects and is now part of the western suburbs of Richmond, south of the James River in the Greater Richmond Region. Because of its unincorporated status, Midlothian has no formal government, and the name is used to represent the original small Village of Midlothian and a vast expanse of Chesterfield County in the northwestern portion of Southside Richmond served by the Midlothian post office.
