Get your Halloween started early and join us for the inaugural Responders First 5K & 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk!

This exciting Halloween event is bringing together families, runners, first responders, veterans, local businesses, and community supporters for an unforgettable day of fitness, family fun, and giving back.

Register before October 1, 2026 to be guaranteed a race day shirt and participant medal.  Those registering after that date may not receive a shirt/medal subject to availability.  

🏁 The first race begins at 8:00 AM, but the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line!

Stick around and enjoy the festivities until 2:00 PM!

Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing your next personal best, participating in your first 5K, walking with friends, pushing a stroller with the little ones, or simply looking for something fun to do with the family on Halloween, there’s something for everyone!

We are currently welcoming local businesses and organizations to become vendors at the event!

Set up a table, showcase your business, meet members of the community, and join in on the Halloween fun.

Dress up in costume, decorate your vendor table for Halloween, and bring candy or treats so our youngest attendees can trick-or-treat from table to table!

This is a great opportunity to introduce your business or organization to local families while supporting a cause that directly impacts the people who serve our communities.

We are also looking for businesses, organizations, and community partners to sponsor the inaugural Responders First 5K & Family Fun Run/Walk.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Responders First Wellness Program, which provides support and resources for Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTSD and other challenges related to the trauma and stress they experience through their service.

Our first responders and veterans have spent their lives showing up for others.

Now it's our community's opportunity to show up for them.

Beautiful custom awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers.

Awards will also be presented to the Top Male and Female Finisher in each of the following age groups:

9 & Under • 10–19 • 20–29 • 30–39 • 40–49 • 50–59 • 60–69 • 70+
