Ring the Springs

From the towering peaks above Colorado Springs to the hidden gems of its urban parks. Ring the Springs returns for its fifth edition on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at Rock Ledge Ranch in Garden of the Gods. Choose 100k (64 miles, 11,000 ft gain, 11,488 ft max elevation, 5:00 AM start), 50k (32.3 miles, 5,333 ft gain, 7:00 AM start), or 35k (8:00 AM start). An epic ultra through North Cheyenne Cañon, Bear Creek Regional Park, and Mount Rosa. This isn’t just a run — it’s an adventure.

Course Highlights — 100k:

• Start at Rock Ledge Ranch, Garden of the Gods
• Midland Trail through historic neighborhoods and scenic parks
• North Cheyenne Cañon — steep climbs and technical descents
• Summit of Mount Rosa at 11,488 feet (the highest point of the course)
• Thrilling descent from Mount Rosa, then final climb up Columbine Trail
• Return to Garden of the Gods and triumphant finish at Rock Ledge Ranch

Course Highlights — 50k:

• Stunning loop showcasing Colorado Springs’ rugged beauty
• Bear Creek Regional Park and North Cheyenne Cañon
• Steep climbs, technical descents, breathtaking vistas
• Finish at Garden of the Gods — dirt trails and some pavement
• 12 hour time limit (approx 22:15 min/mile pace)

Course Highlights — 35k:

• Adventurous trek through iconic trails
• Climbs, descents, scenic paths through Bear Creek Regional Park and North Cheyenne Cañon
• More pavement than most trail ultras, but still plenty of rugged terrain
• Finish under the towering red rocks of Garden of the Gods

Logistics:

• Start/Finish: Rock Ledge Ranch at Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO
• Parking: available at Rock Ledge Ranch (arrive early — limited spaces)
• Public transport: limited — drive or rideshare recommended
• Altitude: Start ~6,200 ft, 100k tops at 11,488 ft. Runners from sea level should arrive 24‑48 hours early to acclimatize.
• No dogs allowed on course (state park regulations).
• Strollers not permitted on rugged terrain.
• Wheelchair accessibility not possible on 100k/50k; 35k has paved sections but still technical — contact organizer for specific accommodations.

• Top 3 overall male/female each distance
• Age group awards (check race website for categories)
