River City Half Marathon

The River City Half Marathon takes place on October 10–11, 2026, starting at Lake Oliver Marina in Columbus, GA, and finishing at Oxbow Meadows. This point-to-point race features a fast course with 350 feet of incline and over 500 feet of decline, running alongside the scenic Chattahoochee River. All half marathon participants have a strict 4-hour cutoff.

Registration and Packet Pickup:

• Online registration via UltraSignup.
• Hoodie deadline: Sunday, September 21, 2026.
• Registrations after Sept 21 receive a Revolution Running shirt (not hoodie).
• Packet pickup at DexaFit Columbus (Fri & Sat, 8 AM – 4 PM).
• Race day pickup at Lake Oliver Marina starting at 6:45 AM.

Buses and Logistics:

• Point-to-point race — bus ticket required for shuttle from finish to start.
• Bus pickup: South end of Hampton Inn parking lot (2870 S Lumpkin Rd, Columbus).
• Without a bus ticket, you must find your own ride to the start.

Aid Stations and Post-Race:

• Aid stations at miles 2.5, 6.75, and 10.
• Electrolyte drinks, water, gels, and fruit available.
• Carrying a bottle, handheld, or pack is strongly encouraged.
• Free food and drinks for all finishers at the finish line.

Saturday Evening 5K:

• Start time: 6:00 PM on October 10, 2026.
• 100% of proceeds benefit Gentian Elementary School.
• All registrants receive a River City t-shirt (hoodie upgrade available).

Swag and Finisher Items:

• All registered half marathon participants receive a hoodie (if by Sept 21).
• All half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal.

• Closest to start line: Double Tree by Hilton (5351 Sydney Simons Blvd).
