Roll of the dice

Are you up for an unpredictable challenge? Welcome to Roll of the Dice, set to hit the trails in 2027! This unique race takes place on a ~3.12 mile loop where fate decides your distance at the start line with a roll of the dice. Participants will run between 1 and 6 laps based on what number comes up, making every racer's experience entirely different.
The course features smooth dirt singletrack that promises to be both fun and fast. With no time for preparation once you hear the starting horn, runners must hit the ground running with whatever they have at hand. The race organizers will provide a basic aid station offering water and electrolytes, but participants should come prepared for an unexpected journey.
Aid stations are strategically placed at the start/finish line of each loop to keep racers fueled throughout their run. While pizza awaits at the finish line as a post-race treat, runners can also use personal drop bags or make quick stops back to their vehicles if needed. Basic restroom facilities will be available in the parking lot near the trailhead.
In terms of logistics, there are no refunds for this event and an absolute cutoff time of 2:00 PM is set six hours after the start. This deadline allows ample opportunity even for the longest possible race distance. In case of extreme weather conditions that necessitate a cancellation, organizers will not offer a rescheduled date.
