Step into Downtown Roseville for the vibrant and spirited Vernon Street Town Square to experience the 14th annual Roseville Turkey Trot. This beloved community race offers runners two distances: a scenic 10K route that takes you through charming neighborhoods, parks, and historic sites of the city; and a more compact yet equally enjoyable 5K loop. Registration for this event is strictly online only and closes on November 2, 2026. Ensure your spot early to secure a custom race shirt in your preferred size, as late registrants may not receive one or their requested size due to limited availability. Bibs with personalized names will be provided if you register by the deadline. Packet pickup is available at Mahany Fitness Center (formerly Roseville Sports Center) on November 24th and 25th from specific hours, allowing ample time for participants to collect their materials ahead of race day. If unable to attend these sessions, packets can also be picked up in the morning of the event starting at 7:30am. Race day parking is free and conveniently located throughout Downtown Roseville. Arrive by 8:15 am to ensure ample time for parking and getting settled before announcements begin promptly at 8:30 am. The race itself starts with a bang, as the 10K event kicks off at 9:00 am followed closely by the 5K starting line-up at 9:05 am. Runners can expect chip timing for accurate results and finisher photos to commemorate their achievement. Refreshments will be provided post-race in the festive atmosphere of Vernon Street Town Square, where runners gather to celebrate their accomplishments together with fellow participants. Jogging strollers are welcome but must start at the back of the pack and stay on the right side of the course for safety reasons. Leashed dogs may join 5K runners as long as they remain under control throughout the race. For more information or inquiries about space availability in the finish area, contact Jon McElroy via email at JMcelroy@roseville.ca.us or by phone (916) 774-5952. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie and community spirit as we run through Roseville's scenic routes during this memorable event. The Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department of Roseville proudly hosts the Turkey Trot under their "Be Well Roseville" initiative, which aims to promote physical activity, healthy eating habits, and mental well-being among residents. This race is more than just a competition; it’s an opportunity for individuals and families alike to come together in support of a healthier community. Join us this November as we lace up our running shoes and hit the streets of Roseville for another year of fun, fitness, and friendship at the Vernon Street Town Square.
