The Family RS15 will commence at 11:30 am exclusively. No on-the-day entries are available for either event. Registration takes place at the Main Entrance of Strathaven Academy (Bowling Green Rd, ML10 6DP), where cyclists can collect essential information and bike numbers before setting off along their chosen route. Cyclists should ensure they arrive well in advance to secure parking and complete registration procedures smoothly. ### Route Descriptions #### Round Strathavan 50 The RS50 is a challenging yet rewarding cycle ride through the picturesque Strathaven area, covering approximately 50 miles. The scenic course winds around villages such as Sandford, Glassford, Chapleton, and Auldhouse, offering cyclists stunning views of rolling hills and charming countryside. Participants can look forward to pit stops at village halls where homemade baking is generously offered by local residents, providing a warm welcome for weary riders along the way. The route includes key refreshment points in Sandford (20 miles) and Glassford (30 miles), ensuring cyclists have opportunities to rest and refuel before completing their journey back to Strathaven Academy. #### Family RS15 For those seeking a more relaxed ride, the 15-mile cycle event is perfect for families with young children. This shorter but equally scenic route offers a delightful mix of countryside scenery and village charm.
