Wilmington • Spirits Run for ALS 6.6K – Stop #4 Ready for Stop #4 of the Spirits Run for ALS 6.6K Illinois Series where we join international endurance runner Enric Casacuberta as he begins leg 4 of his journey down historic Route 66 to raise awareness and funds for ALS. This noncompetitive, community focused 6.6K welcomes all paces — runners, walkers, families, and supporters. Our Wilmington route highlights the city’s iconic Gemini Giant. This symbolic stretch marks another stop on Enric’s 300-mile Illinois journey. Participants will follow sidewalks, pedestrian paths, and marked crosswalks at all times. No streets will be closed.
