The 277.2-mile Run/Ride Across Georgia starts in Tybee Island and rolls through the plains of middle Georgia. The route is a gentle, sloping uphill trek along quiet back roads, finishing in Columbus, Georgia. Run Across Georgia is a huge fundraiser for our community. Over the years, RAG participants have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local causes. Beneficiaries: House of Heroes, CVCl MercyMed of Columbus Run Across Georgia can be run individually or as a team of up to 12 runners. Ride Across Georgia can be ridden solo or as a team of up to 4 riders. Fundraising This is a fundraiser! The 2027 fundraising season opens November 1, 2027 and continues through June 15, 2027. We ask that each participant raise at least $500 as part of this event. 👉 Start fundraising or become a donor here Awards All finishers will receive finisher awards. Special awards will also be given for: Most funds raised (team & individual) Best dressed team at the finish line Best dressed crew vehicle (More categories may be added as race day draws near.) 100% of fundraising proceeds go directly to MercyMed of Columbus and House of Heroes – National.
