Run Against ALS 5K and Kids Fun Run 5K and 1M 2026

Join us on September 26, 2026, at Wildwood Elementary School for the IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRIAN FODERARO Run Against ALS 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run. This event not only offers a chance to participate in an engaging run or walk but also supports those affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The race begins at 9 AM with the 5K run/walk, followed by a fun-filled 1-mile kids' run starting at 9:45 AM. Both events are rain-or-shine affairs and open to all ages.
Participants can choose between an in-person experience or a virtual option for the 5K race, making it convenient for anyone who wishes to contribute from afar. Early bird pricing is available until April 29, 2026, with prices increasing thereafter. All proceeds benefit individuals impacted by ALS and support organizations dedicated to researching this debilitating disease.
The event takes place in a scenic setting at Wildwood Elementary School on Glen Road in Mountain Lakes, NJ, offering participants the opportunity to enjoy a community-focused atmosphere while raising awareness for ALS research and patient care. Runners are encouraged to park at either Briarcliff Middle School or Mountian Lakes High School before heading over to the event location.
