This event, organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elder’s Association Canada (Majlis Ansarullah) under their Mercy for Humanity initiative, aims to unite residents and local businesses in a shared goal of health promotion, unity celebration, and charitable giving. The run will benefit three essential Airdrie organizations: the Airdrie Food Bank, Community Links, and the Airdrie Health Foundation. Participants can choose from 2K, 4K, or 8K routes that wind through the heart of the community, offering scenic views and a chance to contribute meaningfully. Registration opens at 10:00 AM on the day of the event. Warm-up activities begin promptly at 10:30 AM with an opening ceremony to kick off the celebration. The main run will start at 11:00 AM, allowing participants to enjoy a morning filled with camaraderie and purpose. For those preferring a more leisurely pace, there's also a 2K walk option beginning at 11:30 AM. Post-race festivities include prize distribution and light refreshments, providing an opportunity for socializing and celebrating the day’s achievements.
