RUN FOR CANCER FLORIPA 2026

On November 22, 2026, the Run for Cancer Floripa will take place at Beira Mar Norte - Trapiche in Florianópolis, Brazil. The race offers three distances: a 5K run, a 10K run, and a 3K walk, open to all adult runners regardless of gender or experience level. Participants can expect an early start with the first wave beginning at 7 AM sharp, followed by subsequent waves for different categories.
The event kicks off with warm-up exercises starting at 6:40 AM, ensuring everyone is ready for their respective race starts. The atmosphere will be vibrant and inclusive as runners of all ages gather on the scenic beachfront avenue to support each other’s efforts in the fight against cancer.
Alongside competitive races, there's a special Kids Run program with staggered start times based on age groups ranging from 2 years old up to 13-year-olds. The event also features an inclusive category for PCD (People with Disabilities), Autistic individuals, and others who run alongside their peers under staff supervision.
After the race concludes around mid-morning, there will be musical performances and a prize ceremony starting at 9 AM where teams are recognized based on their collective achievements. Refreshments such as beer for those over 18 and ice cream await participants in the post-race area to celebrate this meaningful event that raises awareness and funds for cancer research.
Runners will receive comprehensive kits including chips, bib numbers, eco-friendly cups, medals upon completion of their respective races, and official race t-shirts. Additional items like branded merchandise and refreshments are also available at the finish line.
