About the Event

Set against the scenic backdrop of Mercer County Park's West Picnic Area, this community-driven race promises an invigorating morning run or walk for all fitness levels. Participants can look forward to gathering at 7:30 AM on race day when bib pick-up and registration will commence, allowing ample time to explore the event booths before the start.
The main attraction is a spirited 5k Run that kicks off promptly at 8:30 AM. For those preferring a more leisurely pace or simply looking for an enjoyable stroll through nature, a 2 Mile Walk immediately follows the run's conclusion. Both events wind through picturesque trails and open spaces within Mercer County Park, offering runners and walkers alike the chance to enjoy fresh air and natural beauty.
Post-race refreshments include water stations along both routes as well as at the finish line, ensuring participants stay hydrated throughout their journey. A hearty breakfast of fruit and granola bars will be available for all competitors upon completion, providing a nutritious start to the day after an energetic morning out in nature.
In addition to enjoying the camaraderie among fellow runners and walkers, athletes participating in the 5k Run can vie for recognition with medals awarded to the top three male and female finishers within each age group. This adds an extra layer of excitement and friendly competition to the event.

West Windsor is a township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located at the cross-roads between the Delaware Valley region to the southwest and the Raritan Valley region to the northeast, the township is considered to be an outer-ring suburb of New York City in the New York metropolitan area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 29,518, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 2,353 (+8.7%) from the 27,165 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn reflected an increase of 5,258 (+24.0%) from the 21,907 counted in the 2000 census.
