The event aims to raise $100k specifically towards creating a Toddler Outdoor Play Space in the new Beedie Long Term Care Centre daycare facility, ensuring that young children have access to safe and engaging outdoor play areas. Additionally, funds raised will support the Surrey Food Bank's efforts to provide essential food and hygiene supplies to those facing hardship within North Delta.
Organized by Mercy4Mankind (M4M) volunteers, this event is part of a broader initiative aimed at fostering community health and welfare through various charitable activities including blood donation drives, food collection campaigns, and refugee resettlement programs. The Run for Delta offers runners the chance to participate in an inspiring day filled with camaraderie and purpose.
