Run for Farleigh

About the Event

Join us for an inspiring run that supports Farleigh Hospice, a vital local charity dedicated to providing compassionate care within mid Essex. By participating in either the CM Half or CM 10K, you'll not only challenge yourself physically but also contribute significantly to your community.
To secure one of these coveted spots as part of the Farleigh Hospice team, runners must commit to raising at least £250 through sponsorships and donations. The registration process is straightforward: a £30 fee will get you started on this meaningful journey. To ensure steady progress towards your fundraising goal:
- Halfway there by early February: Aim to raise £125 (half of the total) three weeks before race day, as this milestone guarantees receipt of your race number.
- Keep going beyond the event date: You have up to one month after the run to complete your pledge, allowing for continued fundraising efforts and community engagement.
Farleigh Hospice offers a wide range of services to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex. The charity provides care at home, inpatient support within their hospice facility, as well as comprehensive wellbeing programs designed to enhance quality of life. Their compassionate approach also extends to family members, carers, and those who are bereaved.
Support from runners like you is crucial for Farleigh Hospice's continued success in delivering essential services that touch many lives deeply affected by serious health conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and chronic respiratory illnesses. Your participation means more than just completing a race; it represents hope and support for countless families navigating challenging times together.
Please remember that all entries are non-refundable under any circumstances. If you fall short of the required fundraising amount but still wish to participate in either event, you will need to cover the difference up to the full ticket price.
Join us this year as we come together to celebrate resilience and compassion through sport while making a tangible impact on local care initiatives.
