Run for HER Freedom

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Wannamaker County Park in North Charleston, SC will host the Run for HER Freedom 5K & Family Festival. This community-driven event brings together runners and walkers of all ages to celebrate freedom, hope, healing, and restoration.
The Doors to Freedom organization provides safe havens for survivors of sex trafficking, offering them a path towards transformation through comprehensive restorative services such as education, life skills development, healthcare support, trauma-informed care, and opportunities for personal growth. By participating in the 5K race or attending the Family Festival, you will be supporting this vital mission.
The event kicks off with the 5K run at 9:30 AM, followed by a vibrant Vendor Village & Family Festival from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The festival features local vendors, community booths, and activities for all ages, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute.
