Run for Hope

The Run for Hope will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM EDT (5 km) and 9:00 AM EDT (Fun Run), starting at Kings Avenue Station (1201 Kings Avenue) on the Southbank Riverwalk in Jacksonville, Florida. This is the 6th annual Run for Hope 5 km, supporting The Villages of Hope, which provides a sanctuary, refuge, healing, and restoration for women seeking freedom from sexual exploitation and substance abuse. The tiny home village offers a two‑year rent‑free program with wraparound services.

All participants must follow event rules as provided by the organizer. Race features include shirts for all registrants, medals for all finishers, overall and age‑group awards, and post‑race activities. The course features the Southbank Riverwalk. Packet pickup is available on Friday, June 5 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at both 1st Place Sports locations (3931 Baymeadows Road in Mandarin and 2018 San Marco Blvd. in San Marco Square), and on race day starting at 7:00 AM at the race site. Parking is available in the large lot next to the starting line off Kings Avenue.

• Awards: Overall top three male and female; Master (first male and female); age groups: 10 & Under, 11‑13, 14‑19, 20‑29, 30‑39, 40‑49, 50‑59, 60‑69, 70‑79, 80 & Over.
• Entry fees increase over time: current fee, then $40 starting May 1, $45 starting June 1, $50 race day. 1 mile Fun Run is $15 until race day, then $20. (Fees shown include server fees.)
