Run for Love

The annual Run for Love 5K was founded in 2006 to help those in need. This year's event will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Glenview Gallery Park.
With the collaborative efforts of Chi Gun Dal and other Korean communities, the Korean American Association of Chicago has come together to organize this impactful event to foster integration and diversity within our local community. Thank you sincerely for your kind consideration and anticipated support!

Event Schedule
- 6:30 a.m. – Event Opens
- 7:00 a.m. – Race Day Packet Pick-up
- 7:30 a.m. – Stretching & Warmup
- 7:50 a.m. – Runners Line-up
- 8:00 a.m. – Start 5K Run
- 8:10 a.m. – Start 1mi Walk
- 9:00 a.m. – Awards & Raffle
- 9:30 a.m. – Event Closes

Time Limit
All runners and walkers must finish the race within 50 minutes.

5K Run Awards

1. Individual Awards:
- Male and Female 1st Place: $200
- Male and Female 2nd Place: $150
- Male and Female 3rd Place: $100
- Age Group 1st Place: $50
- Age Group 2nd Place: $40
- Age Group 3rd Place: $30

*Note: No awards for 1mi walkers.

2. Team Awards:
- Male and Female 1st Place: 10 pts
- Male and Female 2nd Place: 7 pts
- Male and Female 3rd Place: 5 pts
- Age Group 1st Place: 3 pts
- Age Group 2nd Place: 2 pts
- Age Group 3rd Place: 1 pt

*All registrants will also receive 1 pt.

- Team with the most points 1st Place: $1,500
- Team with the most points 2nd Place: $1,000
- Team with the most points 3rd Place: $500

*Note: The team award prize amounts provided herein are approximations and are subject to the financial resources raised by the organizing committee in the current year. The final award amounts may vary based on the funds available at the time of disbursement.

Participant Packet Pick-up Instructions
Participant Packet Pick-up will take place at Claypot Seolleongtang (3375 Milwaukee Ave Ste A-B, Northbrook, IL 60062) on the following dates:
- Wednesday, May 14: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, May 15: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday, May 16: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR A SPEEDY PACKET PICK UP
1) Find Your Bib*: Go to the Bib Lookup Link 
2) Print Your Registration Confirmation: Locate and print the "Run for Love Registration Confirmation" email from <info+auto@runsignup.com>. This email shows your T-shirt size.
3) Bring Your Printed Confirmation to Packet Pick-up: Present your printed confirmation to get your race gear.
*Applicable only to 5K runners. 1-Mile walkers may proceed directly to Step 2, as Bib numbers will not be assigned for chip timing records.

Race Day Packet Pick-up is available on Saturday at 7 a.m. at the race location. However, we highly encourage you to pick up your packet in advance to ensure a timely start and avoid any potential delays on race day.
