About the Event

Crestview Running Group invites runners of all ages to participate in the annual 5k Run/Walk on September 19, 2026. This community-driven event aims to support local middle school cross country teams and foster a spirit of fitness and camaraderie among participants.
The race starts promptly at 8:00 AM from Hathaway Street South in Crestview, Florida. Participants can pick up their packets on Friday, September 18th or opt for day-of registration between 6:00 AM and 6:45 AM the morning of the event. The entry fee is $30 per adult runner, with a reduced rate of $15 available to student athletes.
The course offers an out-and-back run that winds through industrial areas of Crestview, providing runners with scenic views and a smooth asphalt surface for optimal performance. A single water station will be located along the route to ensure participants stay hydrated throughout their journey.
Awards are presented in various categories including 5-year age groups, overall male and female winners, as well as masters (ages 40-49) and grand masters (age 50+) divisions for both genders. This recognition system ensures that runners of all ages have the opportunity to shine on race day.
