Run for the Trees 2026

On Sunday, September 20th, join Jersey Trees for Life at Val de la Mare for their third annual Run for the Trees. This year's race is set to be an even more memorable experience as it partners with Rock N Road Runners and features generous support from Evelyn Partners.
Runners can choose between three courses: a challenging 12 km route, a scenic 6 km loop, or a family-friendly 3 km run around the arboretum and reservoir. The terrain is diverse, offering both trail runs for the longer distances and flat paths suitable for all levels of runners on the shorter course.
Race winners will have their names displayed at the arboretum for an entire year, while every participant receives a beautifully crafted wooden medal to commemorate their achievement. Additionally, there's a special prize awarded to the top fundraiser, encouraging participants to support this important environmental initiative.
The event is more than just a race; it’s a chance to contribute positively to your community and enjoy the serene beauty of Val de la Mare. The arboretum offers stunning views and natural landscapes that make for an enjoyable running experience.
Sign-in opens at 8:45 am, with start times scheduled as follows:
- 9:30 am: For those tackling either the 12 km or 6 km courses
- 9:40 am: For participants on the shorter 3 km route
Trail shoes are recommended for runners taking on the longer distances to ensure a comfortable and safe run.
