RUN for WOSAC

Run for WOSAC is an inspiring community-driven race that aims to support the West Orange STOP Suicide Advocacy Coalition (WOSAC). The coalition works tirelessly to enhance access to suicide awareness and prevention resources, fostering a supportive environment within the Township of West Orange. This event underscores the belief that hope can be fostered through collective action.
The mission is clear: by engaging in dialogue about mental health, providing essential support services, reducing means for self-harm, and following up with those who are struggling, we can prevent suicides and save lives. Participants will join a vibrant community committed to making a difference.
Registration offers early bird pricing of $25 until September 30, 2025, followed by on-site registration at the Rock Spring patio area starting from October 1st. Race day registration is also available beginning at 3:00pm on Friday, October 3rd. Entry fees are $25 for pre-registration and increase to $35 after September 30th.
The race itself features a competitive element with awards given to the top male and female overall finishers as well as age group winners in each of six categories (under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60). A live DJ will keep the energy high throughout the event.
Participants can enjoy a variety of vendors on site as well as delicious food from Cable Lake Grille. This race is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to come together in support of mental health awareness and prevention efforts within your community.
