Run Henham, nestled within the picturesque grounds of Henham Park—the same venue that hosts Latitude Festival—offers runners an unforgettable autumn experience. Situated near Southwold in Suffolk, the park's stunning foliage and serene environment provide a breathtaking backdrop for both seasoned athletes and casual participants. The event features two race distances: a scenic 10km loop through light trails and a family-friendly 1km route suitable for all ages. Entry fees are £26 plus booking fee for the longer distance and £10 plus booking fee for the shorter one, with charity entrants having the opportunity to support Big-C or East Anglian Air Ambulance by raising at least £100 in official fundraising. Each participant receives a bespoke race medal upon completion. For those aiming for precision times, chip-timing is provided on the 10km course. Race numbers can be mailed pre-race for an additional fee of £2 or collected on-site during registration day. Official T-shirts are also available as an add-on option at just £15 each. The race starts with a family-friendly event at 9:30 am, followed by the main 10km run beginning promptly at 10:00 am for runners aged 15 and older. The terrain is primarily light trail, offering both challenge and beauty as participants navigate through Henham Park’s autumn landscape. Amenities include toilets, refreshments, and free parking to ensure a comfortable experience throughout the day. Running buggies are permitted but at the participant's own risk. Spectators with dogs must keep them on leads while in park areas not designated for runners. Supporting those living with dementia is also part of Run Henham’s mission; participants can donate an extra £5 towards EPIC Norfolk’s campaign to deliver adapted sports and physical activities across Norfolk and Suffolk, enhancing the lives of individuals affected by this condition. Henham Park is an historic 4,200 acres (1,700 ha) estate in the parish of Wangford with Henham, situated north of the village of Blythburgh in the English county of Suffolk. The park is bordered to the east by the A12 road and to the west by the A145, the two roads meeting to the south of the estate.. It was historically the seat of the Earl of Stradbroke. In 1953 the 4th Earl demolished the Georgian manor house, known as Henham Hall.
