Run Luminate 5k

Run Luminate 5K is set to illuminate the Royal Sandringham Estate on Wednesday, November 25th, 2026. Organized by Good Running Events, this unique race offers participants an enchanting evening experience through the winter wonderland of Luminate at Sandringham.
The event begins promptly at 7:00 PM after registration opens at 5:30 PM. With a mandatory age limit of 11 years or older on race day, runners will embark on a scenic 5K course that winds through the estate's picturesque trails and parkland landscapes. Headtorches are required as the run takes place in darkness.
Participants can expect to encounter stunning countryside views while navigating the mixed terrain, which is entirely trail-based. The route partially overlaps with Luminate’s winter attraction but does not cover its entirety due to lighting constraints. Therefore, runners must ensure they have their headtorches ready for a safe and enjoyable experience.
The race boasts chip timing by Total Race Timing, ensuring accurate results for all competitors. Upon completion, each runner will receive a bespoke medal as recognition of their achievement. Additionally, the top three male and female finishers will be awarded trophies to celebrate their exceptional performance.
Safety is paramount at Run Luminate 5K. Medical teams are on site throughout the event in case any participant requires assistance during or after the race. In-ear headphones are strictly prohibited for safety reasons; however, bone-conducting headphones are allowed.
For those wishing to cheer from the sidelines, arrangements will be confirmed closer to the event date. Spectators can look forward to witnessing a vibrant community of runners coming together in this unique setting.
Registration is now open and transfers are available until 14 days before race day at no additional charge. Please note that refunds cannot be issued after this period due to logistics planning constraints.
Ample parking facilities will be provided within the Sandringham Estate, with clear signage guiding participants upon arrival. Photos and videos taken during the event will be shared via post-race emails and on social media platforms for all runners to enjoy.
