Run Sandringham 10K

The Run Sandringham 10K takes place on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Sandringham Estate in Sandringham, United Kingdom. Organised by Good Running Events, this major race in the East Anglian running calendar welcomes hundreds of runners of all abilities to a super scenic route around the grounds of the Royal Family’s winter retreat.

Event Logistics & Participant Information:

• Age Requirement: Participants must be aged 16 or older on race day.
• Timing & Photography: Chip timing is provided by Total Race Timing, with event photography by Epic Action Imagery.
• Awards: Trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female runners, plus category winners.
• Finisher Rewards: Every runner receives a bespoke medal and finish goodies.
• Course Details: The route is mainly on trails through and surrounding the estate, plus roads closed to traffic. Terrain is approximately 30% trail and 70% road/hard surfaces. A two-hour time limit applies from the final wave.
• Safety & Medical: Medical teams are present onsite. Runners must write their name, medical condition, and emergency contact details on the reverse of their race number.
• Water Station: A designated water station is located at approximately the 5K point. Runners are encouraged to bring their own water as well.
• Headphone Policy: In-ear headphones are banned. Bone conducting headphones are permitted under UK Athletics rules. Violation leads to disqualification.
• Number Transfer: Entries are non-refundable. Transfers to another runner are available online until midnight on May 31, 2026. Do not pass your number to someone else after the deadline.
• Parking: Ample parking is available at the Sandringham Estate. Follow directional signage on arrival.
• Prohibited Items: No pets, wheelchairs, or prams are permitted on the course.

Route & Atmosphere:

• Scenic Highlights: The race starts and finishes within the Royal Estate, taking in stunning countryside views of Sandringham and the Royal House.
• Course Markings: The route is fully marshalled and clearly signposted. Runners must follow all signage and marshal directions, keeping to the left unless instructed otherwise.
• Footwear Advice: Appropriate footwear should be worn for mixed terrain.
• Licensing: The event is licensed via the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
• Media & Community: Photos and video are taken on the day, shared with runners via post-race email and social media.
