On Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, Good Running Events will host Run Snetterton, featuring a flat tarmac course around this iconic racetrack in South Norfolk. The event offers two distances: a quick 5K starting at 7 PM and a more challenging 10K that kicks off ten minutes earlier. Both races are ideal for those looking to improve their personal bests on the smooth surface of Snetterton’s race circuit, which is entirely traffic-free during the run. Registration opens promptly at 5:30 PM in the Event Village, where participants can collect essential information and get a feel for the atmosphere before the start. The village will also serve as a hub for pre-race preparations, with designated lines based on runners' surnames to ensure an organized process. Runners must adhere strictly to age limits; entrants aged 11 or older are eligible for the 5K race while those 15 and above can compete in the 10K. For safety reasons, all participants should clearly mark their bib numbers on the back of their race shirts and provide necessary medical information as requested. The races will start and finish at the racetrack itself, with a course that follows the circuit's tarmac surface throughout its entirety. Runners can expect to be guided by marshals who ensure everyone remains safe and informed about any changes or instructions during the run. Free parking is available near Snetterton Race Track, close to registration areas and start/finish lines, making it convenient for participants to arrive early or stay late if needed. However, organizers do not take responsibility for vehicles, contents, or baggage left unattended at any time during the race day. For those who can’t make it on July 29th but wish to transfer their entry to another runner before the deadline of midnight on July 16th, this option is available through the event website. Beyond that date, transferring entries becomes strictly prohibited to maintain fairness and integrity in results.
