Experience the vibrant spirit of River City as Run the 502 returns with its fifteenth edition on February 13th, culminating in the exhilarating Snowman Shuffle 4 Mile. This unique race series offers runners fifteen distinct events spread across the calendar year, each providing a memorable run through some of Louisville's most scenic and historic locations.
The journey begins early April at Love Like Deana 5k, where participants can celebrate love and community in a picturesque setting. By mid-May, you'll be ready for Fix ‘Em 5k, which challenges runners with its urban landscape. The Parklands & WLKY 5k on June 6th promises an inspiring run through the lush greenery of the park.
On June 13th, lace up your shoes to join the Louisville Bats 5k and support a beloved local team while enjoying the thrill of running alongside thousands of fellow enthusiasts. Celebrate Independence Day with St. Matthews Independence Day 5k on July 4th, where the atmosphere is electric as you run through historic streets.
July's Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Mile offers an invigorating challenge for those seeking a longer distance experience amidst stunning cityscapes and natural beauty. The Jeffersontown Gaslight Festival 5k on September 12th brings runners to the charming town center, where history meets modern celebration.
For those who love variety, the Downtown Doubler 30k/15k/8k/4k on September 13th provides a diverse race experience with multiple distances and routes. Bark in the Park 5k Run/Walk on September 19th adds an extra layer of fun as you enjoy the company of furry friends.
The fall season continues with Welcome Home 5k on October 3rd, honoring veterans and celebrating returnees to their hometowns. Pupkin Spice 5k Run/Walk on Halloween weekend offers a spook-tacular route through festive decorations and community spirit.
Reindeer Romp 4k Run/Walk on December 5th captures the magic of Christmas early with twinkling lights, holiday cheer, and snowflakes in the air. Finish strong at Santa Sprint and Stroll 5k on December 19th, where you can catch a glimpse of the big man himself.
