Roll, stride, or stroll through one of the Valley's most beautiful parks at the **8th Annual Run, Walk & Roll on Saturday, March 21, 2026**. Hosted by the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona at Tempe's sprawling Kiwanis Park, this inclusive and uplifting event transforms athletic participation into direct support for brain injury survivors. Choose your distance—a competitive 10K, a spirited 5K, or a celebratory 1-mile fun walk—and your format, with virtual and mail-in registration options ensuring no one is left behind. Every dollar raised funds adaptive recreation programs, game nights, movie days, and the transformative Camp Brain, where survivors discover community and rediscover joy.
The event radiates accessibility and warmth. Wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, and leashed pets are welcomed without exception. Age group awards stretch from 8 & Under to 80 & Over, recognising that effort knows no generational bounds. Participants receive a custom finisher's medal and your choice of tech or cotton tee—or opt out for a $5 donation directly to the cause. The 8:00 AM 10K start kicks off a morning of purpose, followed by the 5K at 8:15 and the 1-mile at 8:30. By 9:00, the awards ceremony celebrates not only speed, but the collective achievement of a community that refuses to leave anyone behind.
Packet pickup unfolds Friday evening at Tempe Marketplace's Road Runner Sports, with race day pickup available from 7:00 AM at the park's south entrance. Registration fees rise incrementally as race day approaches, but the cause remains constant: brain injury survivors gaining access to connection, activity, and normalcy. StartLine Racing provides chip timing, real-time results, and event photography, ensuring every finisher's moment is preserved. The post-race "Runner's Brunch" offers granola, fruit, and hydration—simple fuel for complex emotions. Whether you're chasing an age group podium, pushing a loved one in a chair, or walking virtually in another state, you are part of something larger than a race. You are part of recovery. Register now, form a team, and prove that in Arizona, every step matters.
