About the Event

Join us for the Nova Scotia CMV Awareness Run, an inspiring journey across the province aimed at raising funds and awareness for newborn screening of congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV). This year marks a significant step forward as Rob Tétrault continues his mission to ensure all children in the Maritimes receive timely interventions.
CMV is a leading cause of infant disability, yet many areas within Nova Scotia still lack universal newborn screening. Your participation can make a difference by supporting the Canadian CMV Foundation and advocating for comprehensive health measures that improve outcomes for infants born with this condition.
Embark on one or more legs of this unique run through some of Nova Scotia's most scenic landscapes. Each leg connects different communities, offering runners breathtaking views and a chance to engage directly in making a positive impact. The route spans from July 19 to August 1, providing flexibility for participants based on their schedules.
