Run519 presents its third annual community race, set to take place on November 8, 2026. The course is designed for runners of all ages and abilities, featuring a flat terrain that makes it accessible yet challenging. Participants will cover a total distance of 5.19 kilometers, with split times recorded at the 5k mark included in their results. This race offers an opportunity to support local initiatives as proceeds are equally divided between The Windsor Youth Centre and the University of Windsor Athletics Club. Each runner who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative medal marking their achievement. Additionally, all participants can look forward to taking home a RUN519 stainless steel tumbler and custom bib number as part of their race package. Race day registration is available for $60 cash only at McHugh Park (9655 McHugh Street, Windsor, ON) until 9:30 am. Package pickup will also be held there starting from 8:30 am on the same morning. The event features chip timing to ensure accurate results based on chip times rather than gun time. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall as well as to the first place male and female in each age category (excluding those already recognized among the top three). Age categories include U15, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 34-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64-69, and 70+. This run promises an engaging atmosphere with a scenic route through Windsor's vibrant streets. Join us to celebrate the spirit of community and competitive running!
