RunDenver Series 2026-27

About the Event

Winter in Denver transforms the city into a vibrant hub for runners and walkers alike. The RunDenver Series has been delighting participants for decades with its unique blend of fun and fitness, offering something special to everyone from casual joggers to seasoned athletes.
Each event is more than just a race—it's an experience that celebrates community spirit and festive cheer. From the snow-dusted paths of City Park during the Rudolph Ramble 5K in December to the crisp winter air at Washington Park for events like Polar Bear, SuperBowl, and Valentine’s Day runs, every step you take is accompanied by playful mascots and a lively atmosphere.
The series kicks off with the festive Rudolph Ramble on December 6th, setting the tone for an exhilarating season of running. As winter progresses to January, the Polar Bear 5K challenges participants in Washington Park, where cold weather doesn't dampen spirits but rather adds excitement to the event. February brings even more fun as runners take part in the SuperBowl and Valentine’s Day events, each offering unique themes and an epic finisher medal.
The season culminates with That Dam Run on March 7th at Cherry Creek Dam Road & Dayton, where you can choose between a half marathon, 10K, or 5K. This event marks the perfect blend of winter's chill transitioning into spring’s promise, making it an ideal way to cap off your training and enjoy some post-race festivities.
Whether you're signing up for all five events as part of the full series or just dipping a toe in with one individual race, each experience is packed with swag, medals, and a sense of camaraderie that keeps everyone smiling. Plus, if life gets in the way, virtual options are available to ensure you still earn your rewards.

Denver is the capital of the western U.S. state of Colorado and the dominant city of the Rocky Mountain Region. Founded in 1858 as the placer gold mining camp known as the Cherry Creek Diggings, the "Mile-High City" is today the most populous city within a 560-mile (900 km) radius and the center of the Front Range Urban Corridor of more than five million residents. Denver embraces its cowboy and mining past but also looks toward the future with a vibrant arts and performing arts scene, dozens of great outdoor festivals, and distinct neighborhoods each offering a unique experience. You'll find everything a cosmopolitan city has to offer including a spectacular view of and easy access to the beautiful Rocky Mountains, which arise only 12 miles (19 km) west of the Colorado State Capitol.
