Join the Chesapeake Bay Running Club for our annual Labor Day 5-Miler! Race day pre-registration for the event begins at 7:00 AM, with the race starting at 7:30 AM. The course will be on the Three Notch Trail and will begin at John V. Baggett Park. Post-race snacks and beverages will be available.
Only current dues-paying members qualify for the CBRC discounted price of $10. If you are unsure about your membership, you can contact Catherine at CBRCMembership@gmail.com. Non-CBRC members can still pre-register for a discounted price of $15.
There will be water stops along the course. Plan on bringing any other nutritional items you will need.
Bathrooms at the park will not open until 7:00 AM.

Mechanicsville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in St. Mary's County, Maryland, United States. It is adjacent to the community of Charlotte Hall, which is known for its agriculture, Amish population, and the Maryland Veterans Home. Mechanicsville has many small businesses and restaurants along Maryland Route 5 and Maryland Route 235, as well as an enclosed Amish produce market. The community is served by the St. Mary's County Public Schools, including Chopticon High School. At the 2010 census, Mechanicsville had a population of 1,528.
