Scheduled for May, this unique running experience invites participants to don their best funny faces and jokes. Whether you're an avid road runner or just looking for some lighthearted fun, there are two routes available: 5 km and 10 km. Both courses wind through Lons-le-Saunier’s picturesque streets, offering runners a tour of the town's landmarks including the House of The Laughing Cow and the statue of Rouget de Lisle.
The race is designed to be fast and flat, with minimal elevation gain—just 15 meters for the shorter distance and 30 meters for the longer one. This makes it an ideal choice for those looking to set a personal record or simply enjoy a swift run. Participants can expect enthusiastic crowds cheering them on as they navigate tight turns like Formula 1 drivers.
After crossing the finish line, runners are invited to indulge in local specialties such as Comté and Morbier cheeses, along with fresh mushrooms from nearby forests. The race weekend coincides with Cyclosportive La Vache qui rit, offering cyclists a chance to explore more of Lons-le-Saunier’s scenic routes.
For those who prefer trails over tarmac, the region also hosts the Trail des Reculées in April, featuring distances ranging from 11 km to 55 km. The area boasts natural wonders like Hérisson waterfalls and serene lakes such as Chalain and Vouglans.
