Join Running Events Devon for an autumnal adventure at our Autum Challenge Day 1 event scheduled for Sunday, October 11th, 2026. Embrace the 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—and arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM to start your journey along a picturesque old disused train line. The course offers an accurately measured route of 5.3 kilometers out and back, winding through scenic landscapes that cater perfectly to runners and walkers alike. Whether you're setting off early or late in the day, every participant has until 3:30 PM to complete their final lap, ensuring ample time for all abilities. The terrain is entirely tarmac, making it a smooth yet challenging run on an historic path filled with natural beauty. Each loop provides fresh views and opportunities to push your limits while enjoying the crisp autumn air. Upon crossing the finish line—whether you've completed one lap or fourteen—you'll be recognized as a winner and awarded a commemorative medal for your achievement. The event is designed to accommodate all levels of runners, from casual walkers to seasoned athletes looking to rack up miles on this unique course.
