Devon's Running Events invites you to experience the Choo-Choo Challenge on Monday, August 31st, 2026, at our newest venue. Embrace the flexibility of our 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—and join us anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM for a day filled with scenic running or walking along an old disused train line. The route offers a picturesque 5.3-kilometer out-and-back loop that winds through the lush, tranquil countryside. Whether you're a seasoned runner looking to push your limits or someone who prefers a leisurely stroll, this event is designed for all abilities and paces. Participants can complete as many laps as they wish before the cutoff time of 3:30 PM. Upon crossing the finish line—whether it's after one lap or fourteen—you'll be awarded with a commemorative medal celebrating your achievement. The flexibility allows you to set personal goals, whether that means testing your endurance by tackling multiple loops or enjoying a relaxed pace while taking in the stunning scenery. For those planning an overnight stay, we highly recommend the Fox & Hounds Hotel and its surrounding accommodations. From cozy rooms to bunkhouse lodging and camping options, there's something for everyone. Plus, be sure not to miss out on their renowned cuisine during your visit. With limited spots available, securing your entry early is advisable. Should capacity be reached, latecomers will still receive a specially crafted medal of their choice from the selection we have on hand that day.
