About the Event

The LaGrange Rotary Club is putting on a 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk to support our local efforts to boost literacy and selected non-profits in our community. Proceeds from the run/walk will go directly to support local causes working to improve literacy among our youth. The run/walk will take place on The Thread beginning at Granger Recreational Park and is an out and back course. This is an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Online Registration will close at 6pm on Saturday, September 20th. New registrations will begin at 7:30am on Race Morning!

LaGrange is a city in and the county seat of Troup County, Georgia, United States. The population of the city was estimated to be 30,858 in 2020 by the U.S. Census Bureau. It is the principal city of the LaGrange, Georgia Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is included in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Gainesville, Georgia-Alabama (part) combined statistical area. It is about 60 miles (97 km) southwest of Atlanta and located in the foothills of the Georgian Piedmont.
