Step into the heart of Pensacola for an exhilarating twist on tradition with the 15th Annual Running of the Bulls, set to take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026. This unique and spirited race draws inspiration from the famous Festival of San Fermín in Pamplona but adds a distinctly American flair: roller derby skaters dressed as charging bulls. The event begins at Seville Quarter with participants dashing through Downtown Pensacola on a scenic 2K course, dodging not real bulls but fierce and playful roller derby skaters who will be thundering down the streets. The atmosphere is electric, filled with laughter and excitement as runners weave their way past these charging "bulls," all while dressed in an iconic white ensemble that makes for an unforgettable spectacle. The race isn't just about speed; it's a celebration of community spirit and fun. Following your run, stick around for the after-party at Seville Quarter to unwind with live entertainment and complimentary beer. Awards will be handed out during this lively event, recognizing both runners and the most creative "water" stations set up along the route. Registration options cater to all types of participants: - Basic Registration includes entry into the race, a commemorative T-shirt, and admission to the after-party. - VIP Registration offers premium seating with exclusive drinks such as complimentary champagne before the event, an opportunity for a meet-and-greet with "the bulls," delicious food, and more. For those looking to enhance their experience further, consider the Libation Station package. This includes setting up your own water station along the race route, complete with customized libations designed to motivate runners. The most creative setup will be judged by West Florida Roller Derby's skaters and announced as a winner during the awards ceremony at Seville Quarter. Packet pickup is available on Friday from 4-6 PM or on race day Saturday between 7:30 AM and 8:50 AM, both locations within Seville Quarter. Be sure to arrive early for packet pick-up and start your adventure in Pensacola with the Running of the Bulls!
