Running the Shores - Jack and Jill Foundation Fundraiser

On Saturday, August 29th, the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Erie Shores Chapter will be “Running the Shores” in our Third Annual 5K Run/Walk, benefitting the Jack and Jill of America Foundation. We invite friends, family, and the community to take the plunge with us for a day of friendly competition for a cause. Check-in and onsite registration will open at 8:00 am, followed by recognition of the supported organizations and a special presentation honoring the late Dr. Edgar Jackson, pioneer of sickle cell research. Racers will set sails at 9:00 am from Edgewater Park, where both individuals and teams are welcome.

Participants Receive
Registration includes a t-shirt. Please register by August 19th to guarantee your shirt on race day! If registered after this date, subject to availability.

Refreshments provided at the finish line.

VIRTUAL RUN

Want to participate from out of town? You still can! Complete the 5K race or 1-mile walk on your own.  Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose!  

If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE! Deadline to submit times is October 1st, 2026.

Virtual event participants can live anywhere!  Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you.
