Sachem Day 72nd Anniversary 5K & Fun Run 2026

Join us on November 7, 2026, at Sachem North High School for the 72nd anniversary of the Sachem Day 5K and Fun Run. This annual event celebrates community spirit with runners of all ages and abilities coming together to enjoy a scenic course around Lake Ronkonkoma.
The race starts promptly at 9:00 AM rain or shine, offering participants a chance to experience the beauty of Long Island's autumn landscape. The 5K route winds through picturesque neighborhoods and along serene waterfront paths, providing runners with stunning views throughout their run.
For those who prefer a less competitive atmosphere, there is also a fun run option for all ages. Both events aim to promote fitness while fostering community connections among participants.
Race day activities include pre-race warm-ups led by local coaches and post-run festivities that keep the energy high as everyone celebrates together.
